AbstractRange: startContainer property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨April 2021⁩.

The read-only startContainer property of the AbstractRange interface returns the start Node for the range.

Value

The Node inside which the start position of the range is found.

Example

let startNode = range.startContainer;
