HTMLHyperlinkElementUtils.username

The HTMLHyperlinkElementUtils.username property is a USVString containing the username specified before the domain name.

Syntax

string = object.username;
object.username = string;

Examples

// Let's <a id="myAnchor" href="https://anonymous:[email protected]/en-US/docs/HTMLHyperlinkElementUtils.username"> be in the document
var anchor = document.getElementByID("myAnchor");
var result = anchor.username; // Returns:'anonymous'
