HTMLInputElement: placeholder property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨July 2015⁩.

The placeholder property of the HTMLInputElement interface represents a hint to the user of what can be entered in the control. It reflects the <input> element's placeholder attribute.
