This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The removeNamedItemNS() method of the NamedNodeMap interface removes the Attr corresponding to the given namespace and local name from the map.
removeNamedItemNS(namespace, localName)
namespaceThe namespace of the attribute to remove from the map
Warning: namespace is the URI of the namespace, not the prefix.
localNameThe local name of the attribute to remove from the map.
The removed Attr.
NotFoundError DOMException
Thrown if there is no attribute with the given namespace and local name.
