This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2020.
The packetsReceived property of the RTCInboundRtpStreamStats dictionary returns the total number of RTP packets received from the synchronization source (SSRC) of this stream, including retransmissions.
A positive integer value.
