This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The error event is fired when an SVG element does not load properly or when an error occurs during script execution.
This basically implements the standard error DOM event.
This event is not cancelable.
Use the event name in methods like addEventListener(), or set an event handler property.
addEventListener("error", (event) => { })
onerror = (event) => { }
A generic Event.
svgElem.addEventListener("error", () => {
console.log("SVG not loaded properly.");
});
