Window: scrollByPages() method

Non-standard: This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.

The Window.scrollByPages() method scrolls the current document by the specified number of pages.

Syntax

scrollByPages(pages)

Parameters

  • pages is the number of pages to scroll. It may be a positive or negative integer.

Return value

None (undefined).

Examples

// scroll down the document by 1 page
window.scrollByPages(1);

// scroll up the document by 1 page
window.scrollByPages(-1);
