numpy.tanh(x, /, out=None, *, where=True, casting='same_kind', order='K', dtype=None, subok=True[, signature, extobj]) = <ufunc 'tanh'>
Compute hyperbolic tangent elementwise.
Equivalent to np.sinh(x)/np.cosh(x)
or 1j * np.tan(1j*x)
.
Parameters:

Returns:

If out
is provided, the function writes the result into it, and returns a reference to out
. (See Examples)
