Modify Series in place using non-NA values from passed Series. Aligns on index.

>>> s = pd.Series([1, 2, 3]) >>> s.update(pd.Series([4, 5, 6, 7, 8])) >>> s 0 4 1 5 2 6 dtype: int64
If other
contains NaNs the corresponding values are not updated in the original Series.
>>> s = pd.Series([1, 2, 3]) >>> s.update(pd.Series([4, np.nan, 6])) >>> s 0 4 1 2 2 6 dtype: int64
