pandas.api.extensions.register_extension_dtype

pandas.api.extensions.register_extension_dtype(cls)[source]

Register an ExtensionType with pandas as class decorator.

This enables operations like .astype(name) for the name of the ExtensionDtype.

Returns:

callable

A class decorator.
