Qt Quick Layouts are a set of QML types used to arrange items in a user interface. In contrast to positioners, Qt Quick Layouts can also resize their items. This makes them well suited for resizable user interfaces. Since layouts are items they can consequently be nested.

The QML types can be imported into your application by adding the following import statement in your .qml
file.
import QtQuick.Layouts
Qt Quick Layouts is available under commercial licenses from The Qt Company. In addition, it is available under free software licenses. Since Qt 5.4, these free software licenses are GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3, or the GNU General Public License, version 2. See Qt Licensing for further details.
