taxonomy_exists( string $taxonomy )

Determines whether the taxonomy name exists.

Description

Formerly is_taxonomy(), introduced in 2.3.0.

Parameters

$taxonomy

(string) (Required) Name of taxonomy object.

Return

(bool) Whether the taxonomy exists.
