IntersectionObserver: disconnect() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨March 2019⁩.

The disconnect() method of the IntersectionObserver interface stops the observer watching all of its target elements for visibility changes.

Syntax

disconnect()

Parameters

None.

Return value

None (undefined).
